Our thanks to Café Sci Redruth member Ivor Corkell who gave a knowledgeable and interesting talk on William Murdoch's contributions to science and engineering (William Murdoch: A Why's Man) on January 6th.

Regular Café Scientifiqué 'cafés' are held at Murdoch House every six weeks or so. Anyone with an interest in scientific issues and debate is very welcome. If you'd like to be added to our mailing list (phone contact numbers also welcome), please use the form on the contact page to email us. You can also ring Pat on 01209 215917. In particular we'd love to hear from you if you would be willing to give a talk in the future or know someone else who might be.
